Every region has their own tastes and VCS also has their own unique flavor. What makes the VCS so different in comparison to other regions? I’m going to tell you five reasons why you should watch the VCS!

1. Every game is entertainment.

Do you like kills and high tempo action after every replay? Do you also like the LPL style of team fighting? Well, you have come to the right place at the right time! The VCS is full packed with action, and sets right with their high KP/M (kills per minute) score of 0,82 in the 2019 summer split. The VCS stands high alongside other regions like LPL and LEC due their aggressive playstyle.

We can take a look in comparison to other regions (if we don’t account Vaevictis Esports skewing over LCL stats):

2. Unlike several minor regions, we have a dedicated English community.

A major offset for many non-Vietnamese watchers for the competition is the main language of the official broadcast. Well luckily we have an English broadcast by casters Everyday and Yulwei, who will be broadcasting every VCS match live! The quality of the broadcast is amazing, and with an active Twitch chat you won’t be disappointed.

But there is more!

The VCS also has an English discord group where fans from all around the world discuss about several topic of the VCS. Hani memes and Levi praise included in the pack.

All the links for the broadcast and discord can be found at the end of the article.

3. We have.. a lot of fails, but a lot of good plays too!

Yes a lot of fails. We can make an fail compilation of every season in the VCS and upload it onto YouTube if necessary. But with every bad play that we make, there is an insane play in return that will water your mouth. So here are five fails and five highlights to entertain yourself!:

Fails:

1. QG Nevan on Quinn.. doing Nevan stuff

2. FL CBL on Leona going in and dying

3. QG Ciel on Gragas drive through

4. EVS But1 on Renekton baron steal attempt

5. EVS Sorn on Jarvan IV caging the whole team

Highlights:

1. EVS Slay on Ezreal quadra kill

2. FFQ Celebrity quadra kill on Vayne

3. DNK on Gragas triple kill

4. GAM Levi on Lee Sin beautiful kick

5. GAM Yoshino on Irelia 1v1 outplay

4. We are the only minor region that has best of threes.

Whereas almost all the regions handle a best of one system, the VCS does do a best of three system with two matches on three game days. It makes for an exciting set of matches that are pretty unique in comparison to other regions.

You want to see GAM Esports battle it out against Team Flash in a best of three? Well the VCS definitely makes it happen. You will never have enough League of Legends with VCS.

5. We have national talent and no player imports.

The VCS has another unique thing, which is that the competition is 100% Vietnamese players only. The reason behind this is because it is very difficult to obtain an visa in Vietnam to play in the VCS. Another reason why the VCS don’t have imports is because a lot of players cannot understand or speak English properly, which causes for communication issues.

In any way, it is beautiful for Vietnamese talent that all players are Vietnamese. If anything, the people that would be inspired to play one day in the VCS might have a bigger and better chance than any other region.

Convinced? Turn into the next VCS match!

So you want to watch the next VCS match? Join us on the live broadcast on either the official Vietnamese broadcast or the English broadcast! Starting next Friday on 11AM, the first match that will be played is going to be CERBERUS Esports versus. V Gaming Adonis.

You can also join our VCS English Discord to discuss even more about VCS.

I hope you had a wonderful read about why you should watch the VCS, and on every Tuesday I will post an new article which features various things about the VCS as well. So stay tuned!
